The growth of eCommerce in the developing world has been tremendously hampered by lack of appropriate ePayment mechanism. Nigeria is a good example. Attempts to promote e-commerce and eGovernment in the country have been very ineffective due, largely, to non availability of appropriate e-payment mechanism.
